| I heard 20 are leaving in another FCPS elementary school; don't know if it's true or not. I'm hoping my local elementary school gets a shakeup; it's been horribly bad there this year. |

Our elementary school had a shake up last year and this year we got new staff and administration and it has been an 100% improvement. |

Not PP- but I think it is a different thing when the administration gets cleared out than multiple teachers leaving. Like in my job- people leave bosses, not the company. |

Wow. About 10 leaving every year is typical turnover here. Our principal sends out an update with departures and new hires. |

Tons of teachers are NOT leaving Bonnie Brae. That's just not true. There is a new principal this year, and she's way better than the old principal, who was very unpopular for about the past 5 years. Both parents and teachers at Bonnie Brae were overall very happy with the new principal this year. Certainly with a new administration there is turnover, especially when the old principal regularly hired and protected bad teachers. The teacher turnover this year isn't much different than past years. |
