After horrible diaper rash incidents, which I photographed, I went to the director and insisted that an incident report be written. The teacher had to check every hour and initial a schedule that she had done so. Frankly, I thought someone should've been fired. It is neglect.
For a one time incident? Wow. That is over kill. I what OP posted is not good because it's happened frequently. But a diaper rash can happen in a near instant from acidic foods.
No. It was NOT the first time. It was the second, and it was not in the infant room but 1s room. Child was not prone to diaper rashes and had never had any diaper rash this bad before or since. The pediatrician agreed that it was due to not being changed after a poop diaper. First time was ridiculous, but the second time, I went ballistic.
