Glad you won't be at the party Saturday night. I'll exercise the other 6 days of the week.

Someone said beer? Really? Would it have to be an ultra light beer?

I lived in Czech Republic for two years. Two-four beers a day. No weight gain. Came back, move driving, less beer - working out to get those extra pounds off. It's about lifestyle.

I'm looking for a one-nighter, not drinking every day. I've lost 40 pounds recently. The last time I went out & had 3 beers for the first time in 4 months the scale was 2 pounds heavier the next morning, it took a lot more than 1 night to lose it.

Got it I would recommend sipping whatever you like neat or with a lemon twist, water back. Ice will make you drink faster.

Ahh, using everyones suggestions (except the beer one ) I googled some and came across the NorCal Margarita.

There are different versions and putting two together I get this

1. 2 shots of tequila (resposado is suppose to be mild, sip-able one)
2. Add plenty of juice + pulp from one lime. Muddle that ish up.
3. Add ice and shake.
4. Finish it by filling your glass with soda water — I LOVE La Croix for an extra layer of flavor. It’s got no cals, it’s au naturel, and they’ve got plenty of delicious flavors to flavor your marg however you want. My go-to is always the mango.

Does this fit the bill? Can I just tell the bartender the recipe with soda water?

I can't drink beer. I either drink

Vodka soda with a lime (flavored soda water if hosting a party)
Tequila and soda with lime

Adding in exercise, cutting back on serving sizes/snacks, and generally eating healthier has led me to losing quite a bit of weight, even though I continue to drink socially.

Sounds pretty good. As for telling the bartender, I found it much easier to say stuff like tequila sour no sugar, highball, top with soda, rather then giving a "recipe". After many times asking for coffee with Jameson and not getting it, I just ask for Irish coffee, no sugar, no cream.

Vodka on the rock with nothing
Or

Or
A splash of Roses lime juice

Just smoke weed.

A non-alcoholic one, you idiot. It's the alcohol itself that is caloric.

Vodka club soda and lime

Really, you don't say?! I had no idea! So what should i eat instead of food, since it is food that has the calories? What an asshole response. The OP is looking for an Eat This, Not That kind of thing. Why on earth would you call someone asking a non offensive question an idiot. What is broken in you?

OP--try vodka without mixers or really, red wine is fine, at about two glasses. Especially if you are drinking instead of eating your "treats."

This. Or something straight up/on the rocks.

Tonic is essentially a soda (like a coke!) with tons of sugar, so stay away from that.

But drink slowly. If you aren't eating a ton, straight liquor will make you drunk pretty fast. Do not drive.

Except a coke has way more calories than a serving of vodka.

Ah...drunkorexia! My friend has had it for years. She looks great, not sure about her liver, though. Good luck with that!

OP here. if you are going to try sarcasm, might want to read the thread first. Drinking twice in 5 months my liver can handle.
