Trinity School at Meadow View?

I cant speak to the education there but I live in the neighborhood of the school. All the kids seem really respectful and polite. My neighbors are super vocal and they have not said anything negative about the school or kids.

Do they have a gym?

They do not have a gym. They don't have PE for the students. They play their gym sports in gyms near by. They use lax and soccer fields that are near by as well. The have a grass mall between the classes that the kids use during lunch. They also have basketball courts to play games during lunch time. It was never a problem for my DC who played sports.

I believe they would say they are an ecumenical Christian school. It was started by a Catholic group called People of Praise. I believe that the student population is about 50/50 Catholic / Protestant. However, most of the teachers are Roman Catholic. The families that I know who are there seem to really love the school and speak very highly of it.

Do they teach creationism? That is a line in the sand for our family. A lot of the local Christian (non-Catholic) schools do embrace creationism, and that just isn't a fit for us. "People of Praise" suggests fundamentalism to me.

Anyone know if, like Immanuel in Springfield, they discriminate against LGBT?

it's a school for white, Republican, Christian conservatives who are also rich

It’s a 6+ year-old thread.

Don't care. Lots of misinfo in the first page that wasn't corrected by enough people. It's a bastion for the area's super wealthy conservatives, including the sons/daughters of deranged Republican politicians, and nearly anyone out of that niche will feel feel out of place

I’m sorry to hear this. I know a few kids who have gone there over the years and loved it.

As far as I remember, they (of course) did not teach evolution. They chose just to not teach anything related to it.

There was mumblings about it months prior from those close to the school, I don't know the reason, possibly low new attendance.

I'm not affiliated with the school, but it looks like it is just reopening under a new name: https://www.trinityacademymeadowview.org/about-us-1
