| When we had similar situation either DH or I took those days off. We planned months ahead, as soon as the school calendar was published. |
| We booked travel abroad for the last day of school. We planned as soon as the calendar was out. That said, otherwise spouse and I would've each taken a day off. If we couldn't, we maybe would have just paid for a whole week and made sure to plan in advance next year. |
| Husband goes into work as early as he can drag himself out of bed, I go in as late as possible, and we get a sitter to cover the hours in between. That usually ends up being 4-5 hours so not cheap, but OK for a couple days. |

Taking Friday off for a long weekend trip. Camp starts the next Monday. |

CREATE Arts Center in downtown Silver Spring (we are a 5 minute drive from DC). We offer individual day registrations during that week only, and a few spaces are still available for 6/15 and 6/16.
