Does Deputy Mayor Courtney Snowden have a Political Future now that it's public?

That's pretty much anywhere, in any organization or government.

That's definitely the Snowden attitude. I would love it if the cost Bowser the next election.

It's worse in DC, like the level of corruption that is expected and tolerated in a Third World country.

I love it that one defense is based on her being such a dedicated public servant that she needs the extra help and the defense takes the opposite viewpoint that she deserves special attention because she's a VIP.

Typical Bowser administration BS.

I would hope that DC's ethical bar has risen since Mayor-for-Life Marion B ran under the apt slogan, "He isn't perfect, but he's perfect for DC."

A better slogan might have been: "Barry: All that he's cracked up to be."

Joking aside, Barry's code of ethics seems to live on in the DC government.

As the late Mayor for Life used to say "To the victor belong the spoils". Unfortunately that's still the attitude of many in the DC government, and too many D.C. Voters don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Every time I think that DC is beyond the Barry era, something like Kaya's crony scheme comes out and proves that DC still has a ways to go.
