They shouldn't take my leaving personally, but they also shouldn't take my involvement personally. I will be involved in whatever place my child spends the majority of the day.

I've purchased supplies for teachers, helped volunteer etc., but I feel that's my job if I have the time.

Met some great parents, but they aren't my "friends". No hard feelings, but as a parent you do what you have to do.

We are leaving Powell for DC Bilingual due to our feeder pattern; folks should understand.
