Spending about $5500 for my daughter this year. About $4000 of that is aftercare, and the remainder is for 6 weeks of camp. She's only 6, so we don't do any specialty camps yet-just basic daycamp.
I'm divorced, so her dad and I each have her for 2 weeks of the summer which fills in the remainder of her break. We split Winter and Spring break so don't need to pay for those camps. |

Less than $5000 for 8 weeks of camp for 2 kids.
Our kids ride the bus, both DH and I work from home, so someone is always there to put them on/take them off the bus. |

$450 / month for after care x 10 months = $4500.
Summer is generally 1-2 weeks of family vacation + 1 week "Camp Grandma" + 6-7 weeks of camp at an average of $450/week. So I would round up to $9,000 per year, depending on how many weeks of summer break there are and how many vacations we take in the summer. |

Aftercare is about $4500 per year.
Camp for summer runs around another $4,000. Random day camps for days off school -- maybe another $500-700 all told? Camp is (I think) $80/day. We also very occasionally have overlapping work travel and have to fly grandma in (from about an hour away), which runs about $350 for the flight. I'd ballpark around 10K for one kid, maybe a little less. Considerably less than we spent before he was in school. |
| About $13,000 for 2 kids. That's $375 per kid for 4 days a week at aftercare, plus about 7 weeks of summer camps that cost between $250 and $400 per week. I didn't count after-school activities, sports, lunch. |
| I'm a SAHM of 3 - 2 kids in elementary and an infant. We spend about 10k per year on the older 2 kids for sports, after school programs and camps. |

About $10k ish? It's hard to separate bc we do the before-, after-, and random days off care at the daycare where YDS goes full time.
This is before and after care (they bus), virtually all MCPS random closures/half days, and summer camp all summer with a week or two of vacation (however, due to the daycare nature of things, we are still liable for 50% reservation fee). |
| Under $1000 a year. We don't do camps. One of us is always at home and the aftercare gave us 70% discount for some reason. |
