Terrible Cough, but Want to Work Out

Dude, we're not responsible for your work expectations. I think it's generally a jerk thing to congregate with others when you're sick - be it work, the gym, wherever.

But this should be common sense to most people. We're not your doctor, and we don't know what's possible for your very specific circumstances. You know your body better than the rest of us, so you can decide whether it's ok to workout on your own at home or outdoors.

You're a jerk if you make the choice to go somewhere crowded when you have other options available. What's so hard to understand?

And definitely don't go to the gym when you're that sick. Please.

Thank you. Not so hard to provide compassionate advice.

You're welcome. I seem to be one of the few who got the intent of your question, i.e., when is it safe to work out--this is a tough crowd. I hope you get back to working out soon, OP, I know tough it is to sit out for that long when you're used to your daily workouts. Hang in there.
