Some people aren't sure if they can go and are waiting to find out, others just forget, others are flat out rude.
I had to check in with one person who hadn't RSVPd to my daughter's party and she was able to go.... |
| One thing that helps on your invites is to make sure you include an email address as a means to RSVP. People who only provide a phone number for the RSVP will get a higher rate of non-RSVPs. Over 90% of people respond by email. |

It also a pet peeve of mine, mostly because I take it personal like a rejection of me or my kid. I once had someone not rsvping for an event that required a head count by a certain day to reserve tickets. Well the person called me a day before the event and said he wouldn't come because he observes the Sabath. That annoyed me because that is something he surely knew all along!
