How does Beauvoir notify?

Thanks for the update! Though I think STA is doing 7 AM on Friday. . . but nice that BVR is doing 3 PM - if we get rejected the wait until 5 PM will be brutal

PP here, at the coffee she said STA at 5 pm but I see on other threads that they have said 7. Best of luck and hang in there!

Does anyone remember if Beauvoir emails or calls accepted students (in addition to Ravenna)?

A few years ago we got a call the day before when our sibling was not accepted.

You're just the messenger, so no offense intended, but this is the most discouraging thing I've read all day.

So Sorry! I did not mean to be discouraging. For what it's worth, I've been told that is fairly normal for Beauvoir at PreK since they only consider preferences that year. Also, I think in comparison the odds are still high. 31-33 spots will be all new families. Compare that to the other local schools, that's much better than a school only admitting 20 and conceivably 1/3 to 1/2 of the spots is sibling and staff kids.

Best of luck to your DC!

Either a troll or a parent of a sibling. However, my money is on troll because I doubt they notified current families by letter.

Beauvoir RARELY rejects a sibling...so either you are trying to stir the pot or you should have known long before you applied your kid was not a good fit.

I know two families where sibling number 3 was denied and nothing was obviously an issue

I can't take it anymore! Was this "email" earlier in the day or after school hours? I just can't wait until 5pm!

Denied or was it suggested that they red shirt and apply the following year and they didn't listen? While the school does not guarantee sibling admission, they bend over backwards to try and accommodate all siblings...sometimes, to what some perceive, to the detriment of the class

Last year emails went out in the morning...if memory serves me correct it was sometime shortly after 8am. This year they will not go out in the morning. The HOS said emails will go out at 3pm.

Thanks for the good wishes. Unfortunately, we were WLed and I hate knowing that coming from Beauvoir it's more of a soft rejection.

The letter sounds so positive that it's hard not to have false hope.
