Need a relatively quiet activity to keep 20 six-year-olds occupied for about 15 minutes

6 yo boys in a large group will not sit and color nicely for 15 mins...not gonna happen.

I have a 6 year old boy and we put out coloring pages (matched the theme of his birthday) for the first 15 minutes of the party as the guests filtered in. Some colored, some talked to the kids who were coloring. I don't think it's that insane of a proposition for 15 minutes.

This. You can do several iterations - cars, biggest building, best person.

FYI...my boys would lose their minds if they were invited to this party. (As would I...I want to see this movie!) This is a hero-mom-making kind of idea. Very cool.

Oh, thank you so much for saying this. The party idea was actually my son's (he's been so excited about this movie since he first saw the preview last year and couldn't believe that it was coming out the same weekend as his birthday). I've felt a little guilty about a party that basically involves plopping the kids in front of a screen for an hour and a half.
