NYC safe for two 18 year olds?

Agree. Rudy Giuliani's stop and frisk REALLY cleaned up the city compared to the 80's under Ed Koch where muggings on the sidewalk in broad daylight were common. SInce NYC has turned back towards socialism with mayor Bill de blasio, it's not as safe as during the early 2000s, but at least it's not a bad as Chicago... yet. |

| They will be fine. I drove there when I was 19 with a bunch of girlfriends to visit another friend at Columbia. We had the best time. I was raised in a Rich, sheltered, bubble suburb too! |
