She had to lose 35 lbs in a hurry for the last Star Wars movie she was in. It was contractual - lose the weight or don't appear.

That alone would have put strain on her heart (already damaged by the years of abuse, which don't mend).

11 hour flight can give blood clots in the legs and run up to heart. Long flights are dangerous after 50.
