The only time I've seen a dog in a backpack, he was hitching a ride with a guy on a bicycle, in the winter, in the city. Probably wasn't practical to have the dog on a leash alongside him, snowbanks and all. Probably the only scenario I can think of where that would be ok, something like that |
Ok, I just googled "dog sling." What the actual fuck, OP? No dog would be happy on one of those things. For the animal's sake, please just stick to a leash. |
Your puppy needs to walk. Don't get a dog sling. Take your pup for a walk or two a day and get a dog walker to come when you're out all the time. You may like the snuggles, but the dog NEEDS to walk. A lot.
Are you trying to use the sling to bring a dog where it shouldn't be? If the dog is allowed, let it walk. If it's not, don't bring it. |
NP- I have a 60 lb dog that I will be walking with my micro. A sling will be gelpful when pups gets tired and can’t keep up. |
None. |
"Want it because we are always out and about. Want to bring the puppy around as much as I can." "And I just love the contact and warmth." You are going to create a dog that has separation anxiety if you do this. I don't know that you are ready for a puppy at all. |

Don't be that ahole that takes your dog everywhere OP. Doesn't matter if it's a puppy. If it's not a service animal trained for a legitimate, specific medical need, you're a selfish jerk.

Because ahole dog owners are timeless. |
Please don't bring your dog into stores, restaurants or other places where they don't belong. |
