Aldi- What to get?

Anonymous
Cereal is cheap there! My kids like their granola and shredded wheat. Another vote for chicken breasts, salad fixings and veggies like carrots, mushrooms ($1.29/8 oz vs $2 on sale at Giant.)

Their milk & oj are very good. I'm picky about oj. Eggs are good too and cheaper than Costco. Bread is a good, too.

I've bought their canned black beans before and liked them. Salsa is good, too.

I don't love their cheese sticks or mozzarella. Cheddar blocks are good. And pineapples!

Now I'm off to figure out where the new Silver Spring aldi is located....

- Snack food like chips and crackers
- Nuts and trail mix
- Baking supplies and spices
- Specialty cheeses
- Organic canned tomatoes
- Ziploc and garbage bags

Seasonal - Stollen with almond filling

I'm also curious about aldi fish and meat quality. Any feedback?

I'm also curious about product quality. I am not a complete organic snob, but part of me wonders if super cheap organic and all natural products are as trustworthy. Maybe I am a snob, it's not like I can be sure the stuff I usually buy is any more organic.

I just started going to save a little on produce. So far we've been happy with
Blackberries
Strawberries
Bananas
Apples
Sweet potatoes
Onions
Sweet potato chips
Raw almonds
Sweet salty trail mix
Organic EVOO
Salad mix
Lemon bread
Roasted seeet corn pop corn

I didn't like the Aldi version of Chex mix at all. My aldi doesn't have a good organic dairy selection.
