Maybe your son and my daughter (tenth grader) were separated at birth. She also did homework all Wednesday afternoon to get it out of the way. Then we hit the movies last night.

My 11 yo DS walked the dog, played outside on the block with the other neighborhood kids, shot hoops in our driveway, and watched TV

Cleaned his room, went with me to run errands (he had a gift card to use). Ate, played video games, played with the dogs, ate.....
