I mean - apparently the women of this country played a big role in getting him elected, it would seem that we should have some women represented there. Not just a bunch of old white dudes.

Let's raise some attention to this online, please.

Oh, honey, you're so cute.

I realize that you Twittered through your 8th grade civics class, so maybe it would be helpful if you see if you can find the textbook (textbook: noun. A book used as a standard study for a particular topic or interest) and read up on how this works.

"We" don't get to "develop a campaign" to shape the cabinet. (Well, I mean, "we can" but most of us recognize a giant waste of time when we see one.)

Picking cabinet members is the privilege of the President-elect. You know, the one we chose on Tuesday.

Stop being a dick, if you can.

Honestly, he who lives by the sword should die by the sword. I have no interest in promoting the hiring of women in a Trump administration. If you're a Republican woman who voted for Trump but can't get a job in the Administration, you are reaping what you sowed.

If Trump wants an administration run by old white guys, let's let him do it and see how he does. I don't think it's going to go very well for him. When the cracks are showing, I'll be happy to step forward and promote qualified persons - men or women - who believe in equal rights and will work to advance them in 2018 and beyond.

The damage will have been done to our democratic institutions.

Tell you what. When people like OP stop being total self-absorbed idiots, I'll lighten up.

How about we focus on the best PERSON for the job, and not base it on something such as race or gender?

That kinda talk is microaggression. Per se.

Studies have shown that having men and women on a team, and diversity in general, is good for business. The 2008 housing market crisis that caused the recession probably would have been avoided if there were more woman on boards of those banks - men tend to take more risks just for shits vs. on good data.

So I do think more women in Cabinets would make the government run better.

It's true. And the irony is, the liberal echo chamber contributed to trump's win, and he is no different: surrounding himself by people just like him, he is creating blind spots, he will miss things, and he won't be re-elected. And I honestly don't think he cares. He proved he could run and win. I'm sure by the time is 74 he will be done.

bondi for attorney general
Palin for interior secretary.

So all you care about is that the White House staff have vaginas? You just have been a failed Hillary voter.

What about the best person (man) for the job?

Of course, some of you will not be happy with the women he chooses, or the men, for that matter.
But, I have no doubt that he will find the best person for each job he fills.

There is no job for which people like Lewandowski, Bannon, Palin, Giuliani, Gingrich and Baio
are the best. Just no.

Lol. THIS.

Hard-core democrat here. I'm just going to sit back and watch as all the republican women and moderate democratic women who voted for him not named Ivanka, Kelly-Anne, and six-foot tall blondes are shoved into a quiet corner. I will wait.

There's no point in protesting it or him and quite frankly as long as he doesn't start a war with a formidable opponent with nuclear arsenals we should be all good. There aren't that many and for some reason Putin loves him and we all know he'll be the dictator in Russia for at least the next decade, China owns him lock, stock and barrel thanks to investments and Israel...well even when we're shitty the US is the best ally they've got.

So no wars with countries that can actually nuke the continental US and I think we can survive and re-build anything he does. It won't be pretty but everyone should be fed up by the idiot by 2020.

Op here

I didn't vote for him and I don't work in government.

I guess just naively thinking that others might like to see some gender balance in the Cabinet.

NP here. If gender balance comes in the form of Palin then I'll pass thanks.
