So my hands crack & bleed as soon as the weather gets even a little cold. They also peel *sigh*. I have been through so many hand creams over the years and the only one that has worked consistently is the new Vaseline intensive Care
This : http://www.vaseline.us/product/intensive-care/targeted-care/advanced-repair-fragrance-free-hand-lotion.html OP, it is not greasy at all. |
| CeraVe in a tub |
| Not one of the stores you mentioned, but the next time you are at the mall, The Body Shop's Hemp Hand cream. Smells terrible but works like a miracle to cure cracked, bleeding hands. |
| Vaseline at night with a pair of old gloves. Your hands will feel great in the am. Glysomed is a drugstore cream but it can be hard to find. Has a silky, not greasy feel. I'm also a fan of Burt's Bees Almond which smells great but can be greasy. You have to get rid of your prohibition on greasiness. It's what makes the stuff work. |
As someone who suffers from really dry hands, I swear by Lubriderm - this one specifically.
AND/OR....I keep both in the house, in my handbag, and at work!

OP here, and thank you for all of the recommendations. I had forgotten about that Neutrogena Norwegian whatever, which I used to use in high school! It's cheap so I picked some up last night and my hands already look SO much better. And it is non-greasy. I need to be using this every time I wash my hands, and I just cannot stand to have greasy hands on my keyboard. Yuck.
I also bought the EOS hand cream because I'm a sucker for cute packaging. It's also cheap but just okay. More like a lotion than a cream and is fragranced more than I like hand lotions to be. I'll keep it in my purse/diaper bag, though. |
| You also might want to get a hand scrub and do that once a night before applying the cream. I ujse the hand scrub from Bath and Body Works but I do remember liking this scrub I tried in the bathroom at Gaylord National Harbor last year. |
| Alba Organics non (or) Un-petroleum jelly in the orange tube. Nothing like it in the world. |
