Whatever brought these two together wasn't love. But I think they both were very clear-headed about why they are choosing each other. And in fact, I think that once you stop caring, abandon the expectation of being an active participant in your husband's life (don't think that ever took place, btw), have lots of space around each other, and run a comfortable home, life with Trump isn't all that unpleasant. She has lots of money and creature comforts, a son, probably her little hobbies and friends, and life isn't all that bad.
