I like what Melania had to say about herself on AC360.

Trying to pass it off like it was an adolescent discretion? Comparing him, potential commander in chief, to her 10 year old son? Totally playing ignorant, as if women aren't hurt by the harassment and objectification of men every day? I wasn't impressed.

i thought the interview was totally not helpful to Trump as president. I mean, really, we are electing a man, not a boy, for president. If your own wife says she has 2 boys at home - a 12 y.o. and a 59 y.o., I donmt think that's really helpful for the campaign.

If trump hates CNN so much and thinks the media is rigged, why was his wife on that show???

Good point.

Also, a little gross when it comes to throwing your son under the bus. I don't think most boys go around bragging about grabbing girls in the pussy. I have had lots of guy friends and hear their "talk" too, but there's a big difference between talking girls/sex and nasty behavior.

Maybe she's not familiar with American political theater. We expect presidents to be parental, that's why they always get photographed holding babies and we put so much stock on the behavior of the First Children. A lot of this comes from the right wing, too, so not sure who she's going to blame now...

"Oh Donald. I forgive him. He is raw. He is an adult. He says it like it is. He does boy talk. The host egg him on. I told him that is not the man I know. Those words are unappropriate."

Yes, she is the third trophy wife of a billionaire, so that is the expected response from her. But she can't expect the rest of the world to react that way to him.

I get what you're saying, and yes, probably not helpful, but I would have to say that she was probably trying to convey the whole idea that boys act foolish and immature in some ways, even when they're men. I have said jokingly more than once that I have "four boys, including my husband" and I have heard many others say similar many times.

It probably didn't come out right, but given how stupid people here seem to say she is, that shouldn't surprise you.

Wow, you lib women can't stand the thought that someone could love their DH so completely and that her words were from the heart. It's a shame none of you understand that kind of love. I hope you find it someday.

Yet when Hillary said it years ago in front of millions (she was rightfully fuming at the time because she didn't know about Bill's dalliances) you now say she was lying. So, I think Melania Trump is lying too. She's no different though Hillary has never been in a centerfold naked to my knowledge.

yes, those of us appalled by sexual assault can't possibly understand true love. I adore and RESPECT my husband. I hope never to understand the kind of love that would excuse him from attacking other women.

Whatever brought these two together wasn't love. But I think they both were very clear-headed about why they are choosing each other. And in fact, I think that once you stop caring, abandon the expectation of being an active participant in your husband's life (don't think that ever took place, btw), have lots of space around each other, and run a comfortable home, life with Trump isn't all that unpleasant. She has lots of money and creature comforts, a son, probably her little hobbies and friends, and life isn't all that bad.

Except when he comes home wanting a BJ.

Tons of women give BJs to husbands they don't particularly get excited about, and these husbands don't keep them in minks and BMWs. I'm just sayin'.

Not to me but she would look better if she hadn't had so much work done.

What? This is Donald's third wife. He does not know love and Melania is just with him for the money.

You need to open your eyes.
