Like many Republicans, Independents, Tories, Laborites, members of the French UMP, and perhaps most of all, members of Forza Italia, they are men. Men with power. Therefore men who can attract women who otherwise probably would pay no attention to them. Oh that rib!

Out of the mouth of Maureen Dowd - not worth even thinking about. I will point out that many moral people strive for and advocate living life by the rules, but never claim to be perfect. In the Catholic Church we have confession for a reason. If we follow the logic above, a divorced parent cannot counsel their adult child to choose a spouse carefully and make a lifelong commitment.
