Not OP but why? I don't work in a factory. If I can work from home instead of being inconvenienced, why not do it?

Because you work IN AN OFFICE. If you can get there safely, there is no reason not to put on your big girl raincoat and get to work

Just got in with only light rain on my walk to the office (DC). In fact, I ended up putting my umbrella down because it wasn't worth fighting the wind. Sidewalks were basically dry.

Hope you didn't wash away OP. The traffic was quite light this morning so maybe there are more rainy day weak sauce federal workers than I realized.
