| I see no harm in informing them and letting them decide what level of further contact they want. It's not as if you're going to harass them. If they don't know what to do with it, they won't write back, and if they've been seeking answers all their life you'll find that out, too. |

I would be very careful. You have the advatage of having known your Dad was adopted for a long time. This could come as a shock to the people you want to contact.
What is your motivation? Have you thought through how this would affect the others involved? |
Usually it is only with a court order or both parties consented. Maybe it is because dad passed away or another reason. Or there was enough information they figured it out. |
