How did Kate Gosselin get so gorgeous?

I think she had good features before, so de-frumpifying with a better haircut (and color) and losing some mom weight probably helped a ton.

Despite her lack of personality, she does look amazing for a mother of 8 in her 40s. There's a whole lot of hair extensions on that head of hers. In addition to the plastic surgery (tuck, botox, fillers), she has a very serious diet and workout regimen that is similar to what a lot of movie stars do to stay fit. She definitely has a great body, and the reason her face and hair look so good is because of the very expensive work. I'm sure she needs a lot of maintenance on that image, too.

It's not like she was ugly. She just needed a good haircut and better clothes. Although it's pretty clear she had some work done, too.

She looks best in the photo on the top right, IMO. I don't think the lighter blonde + tan look suits her.

Yeah, I don't think she actually had that much work done in terms of her features (perhaps a bit of a lift around the eyes?) She was cute before, just overweight and OMG that was some bad hair. Even a supermodel would have a hard time pulling off her pre-show brown hack-job of a haircut.

If you look at her wedding pictures she was blond and gorgeous when she got married. But 8 kids took their toll - as they would on anyone.

Yes, she has had plastic surgery, teeth whitening, and who knows what else but she had "good bones" going into it.

She's a reality t.v. show celebrity. She probably gets paid for interviews and she probably gets some sort of royalties from reruns of the show. Maybe she does speaking engagements?

She could always go back to nursing if she had to. But I really doubt that she has to. She makes more money being a "star".

I believe she earns her money selling her "brand" whether it's making paid appearances, or giving lectures. I think there's been a book or two. She is also a big-time conservative Christian and I know she would go around giving lectures at churches. (This is also the reason for her refusal of selective reduction.)
