Help DD navigate the bus stop

We had a similar situation last year with my kindergarten boy. I did two things; came to the bus stop a bit later and brought a cool game everyone could play with (a stomp rocket). In our case, even the older kids got intrigued, everyone took turns stomping, and eventually they got comfortable with each other. I'm pretty friendly at the bus stop, I talk to all the kids,know their names and am engaged with them. My kid still isn't friends with anyone (no one his age/sex), but he's friendly with all of them now.
