Women please help, WHEN DID YOU FIRST KNOW?????

The first time, I had really bad cramps a few days after my period was due...felt like menstrual cramps, but more intense. Then I took a test and confirmed it. The second time, I was so distracted by taking care of DC1 that I didn't notice any symptoms before I took the pregnancy test when my period was due (we had been trying). But in retrospect I realized that I had that odd "hollow" feeling in my stomach that made me feel like I needed to eat immediately.

Complete, never ever before constipation

The first time, I had not missed a period, and wasn't due for one for nearly a week. I was going to have surgery and they did a test as part of the pre-op. I have to say though, I had the thought I may be pregnant prior to this, but assured myself I wasn't because I was on the pill (faithfully, no other medications) and it just couldn't be possible.

The second time I knew two days after our first try. It was a long wait for the day my period was due. The day it was finally due, it didn't come in the morning like it normally did, and DH said he was sure I was pregnant because I didn't wake up bitchy. We went shopping and purchased a test, I didn't even leave the shopping plaza before I took it.

Before I bought a pregnancy test. I had gone off the pill the month before in preparation for us to begin seriously trying. I hadn't missed my period, had no symptoms, and didn't think it would happen right away, but something prompted me to go to CVS and get a test. I knew then that I was, even before I peed on that stick!

I fainted - never happens unless I'm pregnant and it's always in the first 6 weeks.

he first symptom I noticed was an increased sense of smell, with both pregnancies. I don't remember when this showed up, but before my first missed period.

Both times: wine tasted like vinegar about 4 days before my period was due.

When I took the test after my missed period. Without the test there were no changes to my body. I did not start to feel pregnant until the nausea started at 8 weeks. I'm 4 months along now and feel completely normal again.

Same here - I never get hearburn unless I'm pregnant. Also, I can't eat seafood - which is my favorite!! Makes me gag when pregnant.

I didn't know until I took the test, two days before my period was due. I only tested because I had a girls' weekend and I knew I'd likely be drinking more than usual. I was sure I was not pregnant because my PMS had been so bad that week -- ha!

The first time, I had no symptoms at all. I was a little late for my period, happened to have a gyno appt, and he said "Let's do a test." I was kind of shocked because we weren't trying. The second time, we were trying, and I had my "period" for about an hour. Realized it must be implantation bleeding and did a test. Bingo! No other real early symptoms.

My mother said even in the days before Early Pregnancy Tests she always knew right away because her nipples got sore within 24 hours. So I believe you OP!

I was completely, insanely, over-emotional. When I was pregnant with #1 something my sister said set me off and I couldn't stop crying for 3 hours! Didn't know I was pregnant at the time but found out 1 week later. I knew I was pg with #2 when I had the exact same experience - uncontrolled crying for no reason. Took a test later that day and voila!

within a week, I was extremely tired (I am normally super high energy) and my favorite foods started tasting bad and smelling worse.

I had racing heartbeat and insomnia both times. I knew within 10 days of my IVF embryo transfers.
