I booked disney for february - what else do I need to know re: advance planning?

Anonymous
I was told by a booking agent that prior to valentines weekend is one of their slowest times, but valentines weekend through Presidents' Day weekend is their second busiest week of the year. We went one year 2/7 to 2/11 and crowds were very light but it was also quite cold for Florida, which may have scared away the locals also.
Disboards and the other disney specific have really too much info for the casual tourist. If you search on this forum, you'll find good advice about which rides to use your fast pass on. Or, Google "fast pass strategy" and you'll get a few websites you can look at quickly with good advice on where you get the most bang for your buck. It's not just how popular the ride is, but also how slowly the line moves, etc. but be sure the website was updated fairly recently, as there have been some changes in the program. It's really only MK where it's a big question--there's very limited choices at the other parks. agree it's a pain to pick your park days 2 months in advance, but just go to crowd calendar and pick MK for whatever day is predicted to have the lightest crowd and then work from there.
