Due in a week - what should I do to pass the time?

These are all great suggestions! Basically, go out and do anything that requires time and that won't be as easy to do when you have to carry your baby with you. Hair appts, man/pedi, Dr appts, etc. And make an easily-cancelable plan for your due date in case your child doesn't arrive by then. DH and I went to see Avenue Q on my due date (DD came the next day), and for a friends due date, we made a date to go to a Mom and me movie that day (she also came the day after her due date It made it psychologically easier to get through the day rather than just sitting at home twiddling your thumbs wondering why your baby hasn't arrived yet.

And here's hoping you get a happy baby who likes being out and about! Our DD loved going for long walks in her stroller and being cuddled in her Moby, so I fondly remember many happy days out and meals at restaurants with her as a baby. We even went to eat at Commander's Palace in New Orleans when she was 5 months old, and noone at the restaurant even realized we had a baby with us she was so happily asleep in her car seat. Now that she's a toddler those days are LONG gone

Sleep, get a pedicure, watch a movie, veg in front of the t.v., spend a day in bed, go out to dinner.

Pick out a baby announcement card. You can even address all the envelopes if you request the envelopes to be sent early.

Thanks again for all the ideas!! So far I've scheduled a pedi, taken lots of walks, slept in, and even went out WITHOUT a purse at all! I don't think this baby is coming anytime soon, so I might be able to make it through everyone's suggestions.
