They're both just carbs.

I never eat anything that doesn't smell or taste right. Don't take any chances. Throw it away.

I just bought zucchini noodles from them and they had the same nail polish remover smell (and taste!) when I cooked them. I'm hoping my son doesn't get sick from eating them. Did you ever find out what it wwas?

Whole Foods uses way too much vinegar in all their prepared foods. I stopped buying from them for this reason.

My nail polish remover smells like pasta salad.

I got a soup there last week. It had some gassy bubbles coming up. Literally everytime you put the plastic lid bad on, it bulged like it was going to explode. I took it back.

I made it once I didn’t think it smelt of anything

I had to do a Google search because of experiencing this. I made 2 boxes of pasta salad adding fresh tomatoes and green peppers from our garden. Instead of using the dehydrated packaged dressing from the box, I used bottled dressing. It was fine the first 2 days, but then the strong odor of nail polish remover appeared. I can only assume it was from the vegetables since they were fresh... idk. I wouldn't blame Whole Foods just yet. I'll look into this further now that I know it's not just me.

The acetone smell is from yeast fermentation. Not sure why pasta salad would have that, but look it up. Usually happens in bread products
