We just signed up for Echelon Academy. Certified teachers, both regular and special education. They take private pay and public funding too.

From today's Washington Post looks like the school had financial issues - but the parents SO believe in the school that they are raising funds to keep it open and stepping up to the plate to keep the school alive - They must be doing something right to have that many parents stick around and fight for the schools existence! https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/a-dream-on-the-edge-school-falters-leader-resigns-and-parents-step-in/2016/07/11/4a4d09ce-452c-11e6-bc99-7d269f8719b1_story.html

There is way too much to say about that school, good idea of a school and great people and great meaning behind it all but it fell apart more and more each day starting in 2013. Parents, teachers and even students were boiling with anger due to the lack of organization and financial management
