Where did you get your HSG done?

Had it done on the west coast by a radiologist. Worst pain of my life. I was eventually given a demerol shot. Thankfully, my tubes were open and I did get pregnant several months later.

Any other tips besides Advil? I have my first HSG scheduled for Tuesday at VHC.

GW. It wasn't painful, just weird. But it triggered a vasovagal response in me so then I felt alternatively hot and sweaty, freezing and sweaty, lightheaded, nauseous, and like I had to poop my brains out -- and I found myself standing out on the street corner dealing with all of this -- so I just poured myself into a cab and took it back to my apt. in Arlington. Whew. That was a freaking nightmare.

Above poster here. Got it done at VHC today and it was NOTHING. I freaked out over nothing. To be fair, my tubes were clear and he told me the cervix was easy to find. But he also told me to stop reading the horror stories on the internet and to let the dr know that you're feeling pain.
