Beautiful neighborhood, just wondering about water-quality s'all.

The most disturbing part for me was hearing that the water had been contaminated by raw sewage four times and FFX county never told the residents! Spoke to someone from the HOA and she said they were fined 25K FOR THE WATER ISSUES BY THE COUNTY.

WTF???

Welcome to D.C. - where it is "socially acceptable" to hate on those you perceive to have more than you.

Is that what people are doing here? They're talking about contaminated water. Who is hating on that?

"Mean and snobby" is not in the context of "contaminated water" - get with the program, so you don't keep asking stupid questions.

Since people are attacking Lake B for schools and nearby (lower SES) area, I think it is more hating on those they perceive to have less.

It is great, notice nobody on here has said they live there. I am willing to bet they were out bid on the house they wanted so now they trash it. Same thing happens in Bethesda,

The lake is fine, you can use boats on it, electric pontoon boats, kayaks, canoes paddle boards, etc. 5 white sand beaches. Yep, some of the schools are not great but my kids go to TJ after going to the local schools there.

SO imagine waking up this morning, walking down to your dock, meeting friends for a 2 hour paddle board ride driving 15 minutes do downtown instead of getting up and sitting in traffic on 66 for hours and hating life.

Kind of like Pimmit Hills without the water.

Yes, it does take a lot of imagination to believe it's a 15 minute commute.
