My DD had low VCI - 108, but high FSIQ 143 and was admitted to AAP. She also has anxiety/perfectionism. We're doing CBT now. She will start AAP in the fall (she's a rising 3rd grader). I'm not worried about her doing well in AAP, but I'll report back if we have issues.
