i wonder if there is any chance he has fronto-temporal dementia. I mean his s colleagues were generally shocked and if this is what he's genuinely like at baseline-it just doesn't seem like a person could keep this level of jackassery under his hat.

Wondered that, too. That's a level of crazy that isn't well concealed over time. I wonder if he's had other obsessions.

You whiffed on this. This dude was confronted by actual law enforcement. George Z was just a vigilante, no uniform, and the poor child didn't know him, so he ran.
