OP here.
My DS was showing me how many friends friended him since last night. I thought it would be a good idea to ask him if he friended me yet, but he just laughed and said he wouldn't do it and that none of his friends are friends with their moms on social media (we are not in D.C.) Thankfully the bus came and he had to go, because I was a little shocked and didn't know what to say. I don't know if I should insist on it or leave him alone. |
I am welcome to be friends with DD on Instagram, but she rathers I not comment, and only "like" a pic after a big clump of her friends have liked them first. She doesn't want her friends seeing my name, and then clicking on my feed and following me. I get it. You can still see his feed, so you're all set. |
Snapchat doesn't have the traditional feed like Instagram and Twitter. Unless you're on his phone you can't even see who he has snapped or received snaps from and you can't see their content. Once opened they're gone. The only thing being friends on Snapchat allows is for you to see his snap story if he posts one. |
All my DD does is Snap stories. |
