Do you hate traveling?

I find the flight part of traveling annoying but it's the price you pay to travel and it's one I'm happy to pay.

True. It is far better than a Conestiga wagon

Loving being in new places hate getting there from planning, packing etc. Still the excited of going someplace new outweights all the travel headaches. And I've gotten better of letting things slide - with delays, changes in plans dealing with things that come up.

+1. I wish I could just be teleported to a vacation destination.

I hate it. No longer do it. For me it's the anxiety and fatigue. Not worth having. Plus using public restrooms, sleeping on beds no telling what spilled on them, disgusts me. I'll do a day trip if I have to but I try not to.

I like being home. It's more relaxing.

The last vacation I went on I came home so tired and sunburned. That was probably when I decided to no longer travel.

I miss it.

We have little kids and we are trying to save money.

Yes I love it! Especially international travel. There is so much to see in the world.

I wouldn't say hate, but my life isn't set up well for traveling. We have two young kids, all family out of town, and not a lot of vacation time. We don't get a lot of time away for ourselves. Even then, planning, packing, and the travel itself is just more work. Plus, DH's style is to fit everything he can in while traveling so we return more exhausted than when we left.

I hate the process of packing, planning (international trips), and unpacking when I get home. However, when I arrive at my travel destination I'm extremely happy. I enjoy spending time doing what I want to without any responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, etc. Now business trips can either be fun or annoying depending on the purpose. Travels with my family are always a blast though!

This has got to be some form of OCD/anxiety. Not traveling for these reasons is not normal, unless you are staying in a roach motel or something.
You might also try HomeAway/AirBNB - I always pick places with lots of perfect reviews and I have never been disappointed.

Do you have an anxiety disorder?

We are in our fifties and over the years have put a lot of work into creating a really nice home. I love our house nd our backyard and our screened porch and our pool, our firepit. Being at home in our lovely home frankly feels much nicer than staying in the kinds of hotels we can afford (which are Hyatts and Sheratons, not the luxury resorts). Also, my husband is an awesome cook and his cooking is actually better than a restaurant.
I also hate the crowds and delays at airports.
I used to love the adventure travel but right now the thought of going somewhere exotic and getting diarrhea and using pit toilets -- no way! too old, I guess.

I love it, because it's the only way to see my family, who lives abroad!

So, OK, a 14 hour flight is not comfortable, especially with DD who sleeps with her feet near my nose. But we're past the diaper stage, and the toddler-who-must-run-in-the-aisles stage, so it's all getting better.

WHAT????

I love traveling. I left my first husband because he hated to travel so much. It is my most favorite thing to do. My elementary aged child has been to more countries then most adults.

Love, love...LOVE!
