We use Pampers Baby Dry during the day and Huggies Overnights at night. All babies are different so try a few.
never had a problem with a leaky diaper?
no leaky diaper here either
We would go through phases of leaky/blowout diapers and it almost always went away when we went up a size in diapers. That meant DD was always weighed far less than the suggested weight range on the package -- don't go by that. Try a bigger diaper and see if it helps. And I agree with PPs, just try different brands. Pampers worked ok for us, Whole Foods generic brand did not work well, 7th Generation works best (but in a "big" size) -- I think it totally depends on your kid's body shape and quirks, honestly.
OP here. Thanks everyone, but dd leaked through her Huggies Overnights last night, and I bought a size bigger, for which she is the lowest weight in the range (22 lbs). She sleeps almost kneeling wih her behind up in the air so the problem is always in the front. We've tried both Huggies and Pampers Baby Dry versions during the day and they are pretty good for leaks but then I am back to the poop up the back problem. I can't win it seems.
Whenever we had leaking, going to the bigger size solved the problem.
I've never had trouble with fuzzi bunz -- a cloth brand. Too bad you're not open to cloth.
