| Op here. I really appreciate the ideas. I never knew finding a pair of underwear could be so complicated. Trial and error with brands and skipping them at bedtime will be the plan for now. |
| It sounds like there may be a bigger issue to work through here than just underwear. Have you talked with anyone about it? |

If you do not wear underwear and only the pajama bottoms, doesn't the crotch of the pajama becomes stinky?
Do you wear a new pajama every day? |
Op here. Not really, although when she was a toddler, a pediatrician said she might have sensory issues. Nothing else has had a significant impact on daily life except the underwear thing. A bit picky in terms of food but eats most of what I make. Is this something worth mentioning at a dr. Visit? |
| Had same problems with my son, now 7. He will only wear Hannah Anderson. |
| I am 22:02. For a while he would walk around pulling in his underwear, adjusting and readjusting, scratching his butt. We went through countless brands, including seamless, sensory, compression all kinds. And he only like Hannah Anderson. Go figure. |

Can the OP'S DD wear boy boxers? My DD is 9, has sensory issues but we haven't bothered with a doctor. She rejects all kinds of clothing styles and fabrics. Oddly, she wears 2-3 pair of underwear in a day. She won't wear any Pj bottoms or nightgowns --just big, soft t-shirts and underwear. No pants other than leggings. No seams, no polyester, no damp bathing suits, no smocked or ruched fabrics, all waistbands are worn lower on her hips, and turtlenecks are rejected as forcefully now as footed pjs were when she was a toddler
You might try buying her underwear a size larger. . Good luck! |
| If it's the seams that bother her, why not have her wear them inside out? |
| My DD strongly prefers Hanna Anderssen underwear. The hipster style is probably preferable since the waist isn't as high as the classic style. |
| Flip them inside out. |
|
Try Boden underwear too.
|
| We have similar struggles with my son. No,advice, just empathy. |
|
Lucky and Me underwear. You can get them on Amazon. My kid is ridiculously sensitive to underwear and this is the only brand I've found that works (tried Hanna's) and we tried MANY.
|
| Empathy here. I have a son and he wears boxers that are too big because of sensory issues. He puts on pj bottoms right when he gets home. Good luck, OP. |
| I am particular about it too--and no other sensory issues whatsoever! I hate the feeling of something tight on my waist. So I hate any high waist, including most boy shorts, girls briefs, boxers, etc. The Hanna Andersson material is perfect, I would try it, but but even the hipster rises a little high. If your daughter doesn't like it, you could also try Hanes Girls Hipster or Bikini and see if one of them works. |
