Let's see:
I have fruit in the mornings, which has a lot of water in it. Then I drink a bottle of water at lunch generally. Lunch includes salad, which has a lot of water in it. Then two more bottles of water at night. |
| Probably around 100 oz a day. I also keep a water bottle at my desk. Weekends I drink a lot less. |
| Between 120 and 150oz/day. I don't usually drink coffee, soda, or juice. Just water. And the occasional glass of wine. |
| A tall drinking glass at lunch and dinner. Coffee in the morning. Otherwise I don't feel thirsty unless I'm doing something outdoors in the heat. (Family hikes, yardwork.) But I can't just drink constantly the way some people do. I know it's good for you. I just don't feel thirsty. |
| ^^^^^and if I drink much more I wake up to pee at 3am which I detest. |
This is my problem. Every night I wake up at least once to pee and often I have trouble falling back asleep. |
| I drink 2 glasses maybe. I'm like a camel, but pee like a racehorse. |
|
It's recommended 8 glasses, 8 oz a day. I would drink more. You don't want kidney stones. Drink a lot. When I had kidney stones, they told me to drink ALOT. I drank so much for the next few days, I kept going to the bathroom every 30 min. By the time you feel dehydrated, your body is already thirsty.
I know some people who drink very little water. Maybe 4 glasses in the office while I drink big bottles of it all day. |
| 29 glasses of water per day for me. Thank you very much. |
You sound high maintenance |
| I drink at least 64 to 72 oz a day. |
| 4000 ml per day |
| Like one. But I became lightheaded at work last week and ended up in the ER getting fluids, so I'm probably not the person to follow. |
That's not a medical recommendation, and it has no basis in science. It's a recommendation based on a misunderstanding: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/25/upshot/no-you-do-not-have-to-drink-8-glasses-of-water-a-day.html?_r=0 |

Two liters is my goal, which is about 4 bottles or 67 fl oz. I regularly do 3 bottles so not always there.
I rarely drink anything else besides water. |
