| Why? We're pretty romantic, but I don't see why we need a whole day to celebrate. There's always the weekend. |
| No OP. But I've never worked or gone to school on my birthday in my life. 3 days after Xmas. |
| I got married January 1, so I always have off. but I would like to think we'd try to take a day off or at least a half day off to celebrate. |
Another holiday weekend marriage. For the first few years, even with kids, we would go away for our anniversary. My mom would come in town to watch the kids. Now that the kids are in activities, we haven't kept up with the tradition of going away but I like the idea of taking a day for ourselves. |
| We will for our tenth. |
Yes! Every year
|
I'd LOVE help around the house! Are you offering? |
| Sometimes, when we have a trip planned. Otherwise it's just dinner or a show or something in the evening. |
| We will this year -- for our 25th anniversary. |
| No, too hard to take a day off. We celebrate on the weekend. |
|
I can hardly remember my wedding anniversary, so there's no reason for me to skip off work that day. We can celebrate it whenever one of us does remember it. |
Another one here. We usually go away, even with kids. |
| Never thought of this but definitely a nice idea. Thanks for sharing. |

Nope. I'm not big on celebrating special occasions. We still do something special for my daughter's birthday but not for mine, my husband's, or our anniversary.
We try to take trips and make memories at random times. I just hate putting pressure on a specific day. |
| No, but this makes me think I should take off for my 40th bday. |
