Low libido

The honeymoon is over. Guys stop opening the door, doing less around the house to help, thinks it's the woman's job to care for the kids, etc... She responds to all that by being too tired for sex, or having it infrequently. Sounds about right.

My DW getting off hormonal BC helped after I got snipped. Not ideal but she has desire on occasion.

Isn't it ironic.. that a BC pill makes a woman not want to have sex? Why didn't Alanis use that in her song?

Its one of many good excuses, women have learned to be creative. Kind of like the excuses men give in not pulling their 50% weight.

As pathways are used they because stronger and easier to uses. The reverse is true also. So no desire and no sex leads to more no desire and no sex. Studies have shown most women are just not that into sex. There will be a few on the outside of the curve, but they are the exception. There is very little you can do. Viagra works because men have desire. With women who have no desire, so no magic pill. See where she is on fantasizing and masturbating. Sometimes you can build for there, but if she just never thinks about about it, it very hard to turn around.

A of women are secretly not attracted to their partner though they may love them. A big part of the ageing process, for men to. Many women truthfully rather do other things, it's often a chore they try to avoid. It was probably easier to force or fake it when they were younger. It happens with men too. My friend's husband had little desire to have sex with her. They were in their early 50's and frankly she did not age well at all, harsh but I don't think he was attracted to her...though he clearly loved her.

That would make sense if there weren't so many examples of women actively pursing guys who treat them like shit while ignoring guys who treat them kindly and respectfully.

Men do that to, that's another thread.

Men doing that too would be relevant if guys were declining sex with their wives because their wives weren't holding doors, pulling their weight around the house, etc.

Point being that it's more likely that declining libido for women has more to do with hormones and apathy. The stuff about holding doors, taking care of kids, and working around the house is a self-serving excuse. She doesn't have to acknowledge that she's bored and/or hormonally dead. She can shift the blame onto him. And, if she's lucky, he might start doing more stuff around the house -- but this will not make her horny.

I almost guarantee that if you look like this, your DW would jump your bones every night. I know I would:
