13 was terrible. 14 is great. Will it get bad again?

I've found it is easier in some ways with older teen (17) as far as emotions, school and friend issues... But harder because of more independence, more kids in that age group start partying, driving, sex etc.

+1! That's when the "in crowd" of 10 girls "excludes" the rest of the female population, but they're too young to look around and figure out how numerous they really are. Hold on, it's gonna be a very bumpy ride!

I don't know. I have three girls, all HS or older, and it seemed like by 6th/7th grade the "popular" girl thing had died down and everyone had found their niche and their social stride..
