Beauvoir Graduating Class

It's anywhere between 5-12 kids a year. Depends on how deep the pool of applicants is.

Beauvoir parents must not be starting these threads because they already know they are accepted and know the numbers since December. The threads are begun by non-Beauvoir parents I assume that are applying to STA and NCS. To answer op, about 30 beauvoir boys go to STA in 4th grade and about 25 go to NCS. Good luck!

As the pp said it is the "outsiders" (those not in any preference group) wanting to know probable # of available spots. There is a big difference in odds if it is 2 spots vs 5-7 spots vs 12 spots. We all know this is probably impossible but in this weekend/last 72 hours period it is very hard to keep your hopes in check. Understanding the odds help keep everything realistic.

There is nothing 'nut job' about saying Beauvoir gets a ton of kids into STA/NCS, PP. Its just true. The schools have a strong relationship, and both STA and NCS conduct early admission processes in the fall exclusively for Beauvoir students. Many families enroll at Beauvoir over other schools for this advantage in admissions later (mine included). There is an implicit understanding that if a child does well at Beauvoir, they will get in. And this year there was an unusually high number of boys who applied early and were admitted in December. If you really want to know the odds to be realistic, know that STA saw and accepted unusually high numbers of BVR boys early this year, and also had to turn away a few they normally would have taken because if the sheer numbers.
absolutely. Yes. Acceptance isn't a given.

Are you saying there are Beauvoir boys who applied early to STA and we're not admitted through the early admission process this year?

Thank you. I do understand that admission is not a given. I am asking whether you are saying that, this year, any of the boys who applied early were not admitted early.

Correct, 10:18. Very unusual and very touchy.

No one would reveal that private information on this forum even if they knew and besides I realize you are anxious about finding out but what does it matter at this point? Please just apply and whethe there are 2 or 10 spots all you can do in the next few days is hope for the best. I truly wish you and your son the best of luck!
