These comments are a little nuts. It's not fraud to engage in whatever behavior you want before the test. Fraud would be tampering with the sample.
We were in this situation last year. My husband had had many bad SAs, but insurance was demanding one more before they would approve us for IVF coverage. Things were stressful enough without worrying about him getting a fluke good result, so I told him to do whatever he could to tank it. I think he went to the sauna and drank some bourbon. Who knows if it made any difference? |
