And will hot rollers do the same thing as a round brush, so I can just blow dry and then use rollers?

I am bad with the round brush too, but the hot rollers take care of everything.,

How do the hot rollers work? Do you blow dry and then stick in the curlers? How many would you need for fine shoulder length hair?

Another PP with the exact same hair here! I am also interested in learning how to use the hot rollers and/or how not to get the round brush stuck in my hair. Like it does.

Are you me? Described my hair to a T. Mine is really long though. I have to say that ironing my hair - while making the length look nice - does make it flat on my scalp as another poster said. Even when I don't straighten near the roots.

I get great texture and volume as well as shine when I blow dry with a large ceramic round brush. It's straight but looks different than the iron. Unfortunately I have an infant so I don't usually have time with this and usually do a quick dry and a quick run through the iron anyway. Oh well.

I rough dry with a paddle brush until hair is 80% dry. Then section off the top layers. Dry it bone dry with the round brush. Release another layer and so on. My hair only tangles if I try to use the round brush on hair that's too wet and/or doesn't have enough product.

What about a classic bob style? Easier to manage but you must blow dry it with a round ceramic brush.

For those, like me, that are not coordinated enough to handle the blow dryer brush......

blow dry your hair, head flipped over for volume, and finish with this. Hot Air Styling Brush. I like the stiff bristle one, the other makes my hair way to static-y
