Best humble brag

I am so frustrated with the College Board and the new PSAT. We have to wait until September to find out if DC is NMSF or merely commended.

We had to buy the Mercedes SUV because after Larla was born we couldn't fit all the baby things and the ski equipement into the Audi. (Other car is a Porche)

I'm not really a humble bragger but I know a mom who complains that its so hard to vacation with her husband because he will ONLY vacation at a Ritz or Four Seasons and will ONLY dine in fine restaurants. She acts SOOOO irritated by this.

My 3 year old DD asks to be read to so much - last time I counted I stopped after 90 minutes of continuous reading, that I am praying she teaches himself to read soon so I can get a break. Luckily she can actually read, but not the level of the chapter books she now wants me to read to her. Guess I'll have to keep helping her.

DD would be correcting me if she saw this.

True story.

I HATE this humble brag, but here it all the time, so I always point out that I am too thin and look unwell when people make a big deal about my own weight.

Please send her to the school which will teach her the distinction between the use of bad and badly

I couldn't get DH to leave me alone last night. I had a long day and just wanted to go to sleep but he insisted on pleasuring me. Didn't even want anything in return. I'm thinking of taking a sleeping pill tonight so that I don't have to deal. It's always great but with 2 young kids and a job - I'd rather sleep.

I'm so overwhelmed. We are finally starting to feel settled into our lovely new home in Potomac and were just starting to relax with all of the new space. DC going to Sidwell next yesr is going to be such a disruption and I'm not sure how we are going manage.

It takes me such a long time to pick DC1 up from aftercare in the evening because the teachers spend so much time fawning all over my younger children and commenting on how pretty they are. They will not leave me alone about the youngest being the next Gerber baby.

It's so difficult to find time to brush up on my Spanish when our 2.5 y/o DS speaks in a second language at home.

Ugh, I have gained so much weight recently! We've had so much to celebrate that we've been eating out ALL the time! We went to [fancy place] last week and you can't not get desert when your dh just got a promotion, right? Larla and Larlo both won the [whatever titles] in [their respective sports] so we just HAD to take them to favorite places, and my boss was so impressed with me and all the work I've been doing on [whatever] that he gave me a bonus out of the blue, and all the eating we did on vacation ...

NOT me, but a friend, and there was actually more to the ramble but I zoned out after the part about the vacation that her ILs paid for.

It's been really difficult picking out furniture for the new renovated part of our house. Do I use our current furniture and move it to the new part, or do I just buy new furniture for the new part? #Thestruggleisreal

I have a friend who says this sort of thing all the time. Best thing recently was when she was talking about her current pregnancy and said "I practically had a 6 pack before Larla"
