Because of some special circumstances Wootton is not our first choice (Surprise!) and not my child's home school now. However if my child will not be accepted to one of the HS we expect, we will be able (100% legally, so do not go there...) to switch my child to Wootton.

Where any advanced classes denied, foreign language denied etc.?

Please do not turn this discussion to why we have this situation, it is none of your business..
You absolutely can register late, however it's possible that classes can be filled, and your kid will get their 2nd or 3rd choices of electives (I am assuming that Wooton is like my kid's W school). You could change your mind about private on the last day of summer vacation and still register.
Is there a reason you can't just register now?
