you might laugh, but what just worked for me was the following.
Mix about 1/4 cup baking soda with about 1.5 cups warm water in the shower, and carefully pour it onto your head, massaging it on your scalp. Then put 1/4 cup white vinegar into 1.5 cups water and pour that slowly over different parts of your scalp, massaging as you go. Rinse. My scalp feels SO much better. |
| My spouse and I both use the Body Shop's ginger shampoo for dandruff, and one of my kids started using it at age 10-- not every time she shampoos, but one or twice a week. It really helps and it smells great. Expensive, though. |
| If it is persistent, try any brand dandruff shampoo, but switch brands and try different ones with different ingredients as after a while one type might not be effective anymore. Does she wear a hat? Due to humidity here hats are not a good thing and might make it worse. |
