OP, sounds like the stress is your issue, not the weight.

First, anytime anyone loses a significant amount of weight, the first get a gaunt older look as the skin hangs wrong from weight loss and you get a pale faded look. Give it a couple of weeks and your body redistributes the weight, your skin adjusts slightly and fills out a little and your color returns. I've seen this dozens of time with people who have lost weight. You always look the worst in the first few weeks after the weight loss.

Second wearing the old clothes that are too big also makes you look older. It looks like you've shrunk which is common when you age. If you get some new clothes that are sized right for your new weight, it will also help dispel the older look.

Do not gain the weight back. It is not healthy to keep losing and gaining significant amounts of weight. It puts added stress on your body and organs and can cause added health issues.

This is a seriously awful post. OP might have a real medical issue with food -- "jokes" like these don't help.

Whenever I drop below 140-I look seriously anorexic. I get comments from everyone.

I'm 5'5" and a size 2 and 140 is what makes me look great. I am very muscular and workout 6 days per week. I also am big boned--very large wrists, hands, etc.

Op- could be like me. My face is fresh and neck not craggy unless I drop below 140.

It was a combination of extreme stress (not blizzard related--when I am stressed my appetite disappears), only drinking water during the blizzard (I forgot to get my usual juice--I'm a huge juice drinker--lemonade, grape, etc.), eating no treats during the blizzard (forgot to get treats), and generally not eating much during the blizzard.

I used to weigh 146 and now I weigh 137. I'm 5'5''. Anyhow, as a result of this weight loss, people keep telling me that I look exhausted, haggard, too thin, and old. It's true, I lost a lot of weight in my face and I do think I look older and more haggard (wrinkle lines are more apparent now, underneath my eyes looks more hollow). However, my lower body looks a lot better. All of my clothes are hanging off me as a result of this weight loss. I'm 40.

Should I gain some or all of it back? I wasn't trying to lose the weight, it just happened.

If you're such a huge juice drinker, you don't "forget"

Not op, but under extreme stress, you forget a lot. You're fortunate enough not to realize this, so be thankful for that. You'd be surprised at how forgetful you get when your mind is in a fog due to EXTREME stress.

It'll come back when your stress lessens

OP, you are asking the wrong question. The question is not whether to regain the weight. The question you should be asking is how to deal with whatever life stress you have going on that made you forget to go shopping before a blizzard and made you not eat for a week.

It sounds like you are going through an awful time. Focus on dealing with whatever is causing the stress.

They are probbaly jealous. You probably look much better.

Yeah, when it goes that fast your skin doesn't have time to adjust. I would exercise instead and try to build some muscle and maybe get fillers if you are into that.

You lost the weight too quickly so your face looks slack. De stress and eat healthy and things will be fine. Do not gain the weight back!

I get it OP. When I lose 10 pounds it shows mostly in my face and everything starts to sag. I look older. Get back to a healthy diet and stay hydrated, take care of your skin and build up some muscle.

+ 1. I recently realized (thanks to some honest comments from my mom) that I am now at an age where I have to decide between body and face. When I get my body to the weight I like, I look a little gaunt in the face. When my face looks its best, I have a little extra weight in the belly and thighs. Getting old sucks!

Yes, exactly. You look sick because you are dehydrated.
